Film Screening: Just Eat It, April 9 at Cinemapolis

The Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival in collaboration with Tompkins County Solid Waste will be holding a screening of the film Just Eat It. The documentary showcases the shocking amount of food waste in North America, focusing on waste that is created before even reaching the customer. Nearly 50% of food produced is never eaten!

Following the film there will be a panel discussion featuring Kat McCarthy, Waste Reduction and Recycling Specialist from Tompkins County Solid Waste and Meaghan Sheehan Rosen, Program Coordinator from the Friendship Donations Network. Learn more about the film and buy tickets in advance Here.
